About Me

A Long, long time ago…

…at the tender age of 17, I joined the United States Air Force. I spent 10 years as a cook, mostly in South Dakota. I went to Desert Shield/Storm on my 19th Birthday, and spent six months at various locations in the Middle East. While there, I developed a relationship with my wife of over 30 years.

During those 10 years cooking, I was…underwhelmed by what I was seeing in the newer Airmen. My parents taught me to be the change I wanted to see, and so I made a fateful and ultimately rewarding decision. I became an Air Force Recruiter. This, I felt, allowed me to help drive the change that I felt was needed. I was not wrong!

You see, recruiting was where I found my real purpose in life. I met hundreds of wonderful people and was able to help dozens of them find a new path in life. A path that offered them the opportunity to forge a new way forward, learning skills and having experiences that they otherwise wouldn’t have had.

During my time in the military and especially as a recruiter, I realized that my mission and goal in life, was to help people find their path, to lead them to the next step in life that would help them grow and feel successful. My focus became seeing if what they wanted out of life was something my organization could offer. If so, yay! If not, then we tried to find something else that would offer them the opportunity they needed.

I carried that focus into my civilian career after I retired from the Air Force. I obtained my degrees in Human Resources, Business Administration, and Leadership Development immediately after retiring in 2011 and have been putting those skills into use daily ever since.

After stints with a few different companies, I have decided to strike out on my own and use my skills and experience to help companies and people to take themselves to the next level. I want to help YOU find YOUR dreams, to help you take that next step on your career journey and find that thing that makes you happy and feel valued.
